How do I close a thread???

Mods can close them, I don't think regular posters can.

If it has become problematic or someone is harrassing you click the little ! in the red triangle over where near your name is and report it to the mods requesting it to be closed, otherwise it will just float down to the bottom when other more popular ones are bumped to the top, when they are commented on.

mods have to close them, but you can edit your post if there is something you've written that you would like to change.

If you feel that there is a problem with a thread you can use the Report button to bring it to an Administrator's attention (the triangle with a ! in it on the lower left) It will be looked at and they will decide what action, if any, to take. We don't close threads unless there is a compelling reason to such as violating board guidelines.

If this is regarding a thread on the DVC Rent/Trade Board then you need to read the FAQ over there about how to have your thread closed/locked. They have a different procedure.
