I have several old posts on the boards and would like to close them. How Do I do this? I searched FAQ and threads and cannot find any guidance. Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by "closing"? I've never heard this term used before. :confused3

I don't think that you can "close" a post, but I know that a moderator can lock a thread if you ask to keep people from responding if there is an issue.

I have some old posts from the beginning of the month in the DVC Rent-trade boards. According to the guidlelines, you're only allowed so many posts in that area or you risk not being validated and put up on the board for your next request. They don't notify you that you post did not validate. It just doesn't appear. This has happened on my last two tries to post to reservations wanted. Thought I'd cover all bases before bugging moderators.

I've posted on the DVC rent/trade board before, and although I've never had to do this, I believe that you are supposed to just change the title of your thread and begin it with Closed: . Check out the stickies at the top of that forum to be sure, but I'm 99.9% sure that is correct. :thumbsup2
