How do I book a 2 week stay at 11 months?

I would like to book a two week stay. At 11 months I can book 8 days / 7 nights. Do I need to modify each day to add the extra day OR can I modify once when last booked date is at or just before 11 month date to add on the extra dates I need? This is for a popular time so I'm wondering if someone else books a similar length stay starting in the middle of the first half of my trip, if I would be blocked from adding on 11 months from the end date of my stay. I hope this makes sense.

As long as your vacation is still beyond the 11-month window, nobody can jump ahead of you. So you don't need to modify daily, just modify at some point while your reservation is still beyond the 11-month window to add nights.

You can modify as often as you wish, but you really only need to modify once or twice, depending on how many nights you actually want.

By reserving your first 7 nights you’ve blocked everyone else from staying in ‘your’ villa, so once you’ve made that initial reservation there’s no danger you’ll lose your villa as long as you add on your next several nights before the 11 month window opens up for them. I’d likely make the first reservation, then five nights later add 5 nights, then 3 nights after that add my last 2 nights.
My only concern would be if I was booking a resort that had sold fixed weeks & the villa I was booking had very high demand w/ few villas in the category I was booking - because there’s a remote chance that a fixed week could block you. I’ve never read of anyone running into that scenario, but I might add a day each day if I was concerned about that.

This is good advice. I never thought of fixed weeks when booking at 11 months.

DVD can’t sell more than 35% of any one week as a FW, and AFAIAA they haven’t reached that limit anywhere. So while possible it’s unlikely. That said, when booking a longer stay I tend to add every day just because I’m so excited to get it booked!

Fixed weeks and room refurbishments can come into play 11 months plus. While rare it can happen and you get blocked out. I would add a day every day. At least for t is not the un bookable 3 bedroom grand villa at Aulani. Yes it is declared and was previously bookable. No dates ever show up to book it. Even past. 11 months. Weird.

I book 2 week stays every year. I’m sure there’s an easier way to do it but I book my seven nights then each day after add on a day. It’s a pain but it works

The fixed weeks are automatically booked at 12 months, so they are already ahead of you.
