We bought the plan hoping it would make things easier. Now I'm concerned about how they divide the credits! If one parent goes for food while the other get a seat w the kids can we use one magic band to pay using the plan or do we need all of them????? My girls are bears when hungry so it is always easier to sit them down w a small snack while one of us waits in line for food?? Any input would help, thanks ;)

Hello,

One band will work to pay for all meals. We often do the same thing. One parent sits with the kids the other gets the meals. You will receive a receipt with total credits used and total credits left. This makes it very easy to keep track :)

Now that my kids are older we tend to travel as group each with their own tray. At the the end one adult uses their band to clear the bill.

Yes, you can do that. BUT, might as well know now: at popular CS restaurants, during rush periods, a Disney CM might be posted who will not let your family be seated until you have your family's food. You can wait to the side of the cashier area for Dad + tray. Then a CM will find a table for you. Sounds harsh, but it works better for everyone. There's only so many tables, and many people sit at CS tables with no food purchase. It might be to rest, to cool off, to eat food they brought into the park, etc. During slower times, this is OK, but during rush, paying families could be hard-pressed to get a table, while watching people sitting but not eating. Best if you eat earlier or later than rush hour. Snacks are a good idea for your kids.

A couple restaurants at MK have upstairs eating areas that are often overlooked: Pinocchio Village Haus and Columbia Harbor House. I love it upstairs, and there's some great views. PVH has an outside balcony eating area, and inside views of It's a Small World. CHH overlooks Liberty Square and Fantasyland.
