My 90 day starts on Monday. I've spent the last 3 1/2 hours on the phone with my travel agent and so far 4 different Disney CMs but no one has been able to figure out what to do. I've seen on various forums where they say some type of change was made to the system last week that enabled AAA members to use the online ADR system but I can't seem to figure out what it is. Apparently AAA is the only TA that uses a different confirmation number instead of the standard Disney confirmation number. One CM told me that next time I should book with someone else to avoid the problem. One of the others gave me another number that she said was our Disney hotel reservation confirmation number but that doesn't work either. Have any of you dealt with this mess and if so were you able to find out a solution?

I don't know specifically what was done to "fix" it, but AAA confirmation numbers DO now work for on-line reservations to unlock the 90+10. Unfortunately, not in time for me to use, but since it was fixed, I have played around with it and my confirmation number works just fine.

On my paperwork from AAA, in the upper right-hand corner it says Client File followed by an 8-digit number (well one number, two letters, then five more numbers).

HTH

I had problems with getting it to recognize my number. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I was trying to add my reservation under my account in My Disney Vacation area. I decided to try adding it in the Dining reservation page and it took it. Which is great since I can go online tommorrow. I just entered my confirmation number straight from my AAA reservation worksheet. Hope this helps.

We have a confirmation number and the CM's at Disney have even matched it up with our Disney Resort Reservation number but done of them are working.

I booked thru AAA and until today, my reservation # did not work on line. Put it in just now, and it worked and associated my booking into the ADR system! I suggest you try again...but perhaps you aren't being recognized because you're not at your 90 day mark, yet? :confused3

If you can't get the on line system to work, you can still get ADR's on the phone, although the phone lines don't open until an hour later, but at least you can get something and then work on getting your on line set up to work.

I'd get up Monday AM at 6:00 and try the on line system, as that's when you should be able to book. If it still doesn't work, call the dining line at 7:00am.

Good Luck! Sending pixie dust! :wizard:

We had a CAA (AAA in Canada) reservation number when I made my ADRs back in May but they didn't "see" that reservation number. I made my ADRs anyway and have checked them twice on the phone since making them. The trip is paid in full. The ADRs are confirmed (but I can't check them on line) They're just not matched up. The Cm said not to worry. My TA said not to worry. So here's hoping...:upsidedow

Hmmm...I was just on the Disney site cruisen' around, and happened upon the dining page. I just entered a date range for choosen dates at each restaurant I wanted and booked w/out any problems.

I have my trip (September) booked through AAA; and there were no questions about trip #'s, resort #'s, or etc...everything was pretty straightforward.
So maybe I did something wrong...or right?!?!

Why not just give your TA a list of restaurants/times and have them do it? :confused3

Or if you want it done before your TA comes to work at 8 or 9, then call Disney at 7am? It's a new system and Disney just hasn't worked all the kinks out quite yet.

We booked through AAA & made our own ressies (by PHONE.) Our agent offered to help, but I hated to bother her with it (really, I just hated to hand over the control!) :thumbsup2 Anyway, I used the reservation # on my confirmation papers. It all worked out okay. As far as online ADR's, I dunno?? Best wishes to you!

And, don't forget to ask for the AAA Storytime at MK. They only offer it on certain days (can't remember which ones.) Some CM's know how to book it & some CM's say they can't do it & will give you a phone # to call. It's free w/ your AAA reservation. :goodvibes

I booked through AAA and called Disney and they looked me up and gave me my number.

I was able to get mine to work. There was a confirm number on the receipt started with a "7" not sure they are all like that. AND I had to use the phone number on the receipt which is the AAA office not my phone number.

works great now, just about a week too late

Good luck!

The AAA, TA and DVC aspects of the online booking system are all working now. Anything that is not working is likely a technical glitch on Disney's part.

Since this appears to be an isolated instance of one person's reservation number not working, I'm going to close this and refer more specific questions about online booking to the sticky thread. There is a FAQ in the first post that should answer most questions associated with online ADR's. If you don't see your question answered there, please post a reply asking your question. There are quite a few Online Experts who frequent that thread and they will likely have the answer to your question. :goodvibes
