How Discusting is this?

My ex did this. I always refused to kiss him when he had snuff in his mouth. As far as I know, he still does it. Gross.

I find it really gross. I can't stand to witness anything slimey coming out of a persons mouth. (Or an animal's for that matter!) It turns my stomach. I get on my DS for spitting. He is really bad about it.

Can you enlighten me, please? I watch the Baseball games and the players are forever chewing away and tucking stuff behind their lower lip/ in thier cheek; is this stuff chewing tobacco? Snuff that we refer to is sniffed up the nose in small pinches. I don't know that we have chewing tobacco over this side of the pond....just far too many folk chewing gum and dropping it on pavements to make a mess. Don't know that I could cope with watching someone chewing and spitting tobacco...eeeugh

Yep, that's chewing tobacco, though it's also referred to as dip, snuff, chaw, etc. Ugh.

My dh did this for years!!!! It totally gross me out too! It would just spit it into our garbage cans, so then they would be disgusting. It finally got to the point where I couldn't stand it anymore and so he finally quit for me, but it was really hard for him. It has been a couple of years now since he quit and I just ask him this a week or so ago, but he still misses it and craves it.

As I am talking with him he starts spitting in the cup & I realize he is chewing tobacco!!!

Where do you live? I didnt know that people still did this, especially young people. The only person I saw do this was my Grandfather YEARS ago, who's from North Carolina, and grew tobacco on a farm.

This is so gross I actually work in retail and we find tobacco spit in all kinds of things-which is so disrespectful! I have seen it in the floor, on clothes-which you have to damage off and throw out. Even in children's sand buckets, flower pots and in the water fountain Maybe they would think twice if they had to clean it up!

Maybe someone else has posted this. Maybe it was just a misprint but the word is spelled disgusting. I am not trying to be mean or anything, just suprised that it hasn't been mentioned.
