to add a person on to an ADR? We made all of our adrs for three people thinking that my mom would not be coming on this trip with us. Well, now she suddenly wants to come and I am wondering if I will be able to add her on to our reservations.

Thanks

I don't know abouting adding her to the ADR, but I will say that we showed up with 5 for our ADR's for 4 without any problems.

Since you are going from 3 to 4 it shouldn't be a problem at all because it would always be the same size table. If you were going from 2 to 3 it would be a bigger problem.

Definitely call. When I went Easter '03 there were originally 3 of us and we had res for Poly Dinner Show. We added a fourth person to our trip last minute and tried to change our Poly Dinner Show and they said they couldn't add the fourth person, no space and show was sold out. We ended up at Hoop dee doo and had a great time anyway!

For the regular restaurants (not dinner shows) I agree that you can show up with four people and not have a problem. There are no tables that sit three people anyway. It has to be an even number so going from 3 to 4 will not be a problem. You can call Disney dining if you are concerned. But I really don't think you will have any problems.

I just called last week to change the # of people in my ADR's. The 2 I changed from 5 to 6 people the CM changed it and I kept the same confirmation # since the table sat that many people anyway. I think that's what will happen with most if not all of yours so it won't hurt to call so you know which ones they can do that for.

The ones I changed from 4 to 5 people I had to get a new ADR and cancel the old one. This was for the week after Thanksgiving and alot of them I was still able to get the same time, just a few were different times within 30 minutes. The ones I couldn't change due to not available (lecellier) I changed it from 4 people to 3 and kept the same confirmation # (we have 2 teens who will go off on their own for that and CRT breakfast that I wasn't going to even try to change for fear of losing it).

HTH, Calie

I don't think this would be difficult at all - if you have a table for 3 most likely it is actually a table that can accommodate 4. I had to add 6 people to 4 ADRs I had in August and had no trouble - I only had to change the time for one, the others they simply added another table. The CMs I spoke with were very helpful, they did everything they could to be sure the added folks could join us. Call dining and they will certainly let you know what needs to be done (changing times if necessary, but I doubt that will be an issue in your case) to add your mother, but do call dining so the table will be set properly for your group.

This happened to me, and there are tables just for three, according to the CM I spoke with. Ohana's is one for example, I had to get a new ressie# for 4 people(changing from 3). Other resturants were not a problem~ so just call the Disney Dining and they will tell you which ones you will need to change. :flower:

Ohana is kind of on the same plane as a dinner show. Any of the restaurants with any kind of show, whether formal or informal, could be a problem. All "normal" restaurants within WDW will have seatings for an even number of people.

Our table for 3 at CRT was actually a table for 2 with a third chair pushed up to it (by the window).

Thank you for the responses. I will contact Disney dining, just to be safe.
