How difficult is it to get early Dec. at 7 months?

We are thinking of going in eraly December 2005. We own at VWL but will probably be looking for a 1-BR at BWV (and if not available possibly at BCV).

How difficult is it to book at the 7-month window? Do you need to call MS daily?

I would definately call every day at the 7 months point if you want one of the other resorts. If you have your heart set on going that time of year, it might be a good idea to book your home resort at the 11 month window. Atleast then you have something to fall back on in case you can't get BCV or BWV. Good Luck!

You will probably have to wait list. Early December is very popular at BWV, especially standard or boardwalk view. I just started my day by day this morning for Nov 26 to Dec 2.

Early December shouldn't be any problem at all at either BWV or BCV based on past experience. However, be sure you avoid the end of Thansgiving week. If you're worried about it, book yourself at your home resort at the 11 month window and that way you'll be sure to have a place to stay once the 7 month window opens.

Last January there were several posts on this board of people reporting they were unable to get SV rooms at BoardWalk if they waited to book the entire week at once. I do think I remember seeing some waitlisting for BW view also, but the SVs definately go fast.

I would suggest you call on the first day of your 7 month mark and ask how it looks. MS will give you a good idea if you need to call day by day.

You just never know til you call. I got a hard-to-get SV studio at BWV at the 7 month mark for mid-December last year. To me it's very important to call right at that 7 month mark. That's where there's going to be a lot of movement-people who booked at their home resort at 11 months, but now want to move to stay somewhere else. You just may benefit from that.

FWIW, I called around the eight-month mark for a BWV studio (any view) and had to waitlist for Dec. 4-11.
