I will be booking lunch at CRT within my 180 + 10 window. I think it will be about 185 days out. Our date for CRT is 7/12/07. What have your experiences been getting the reservation you want when you are 180-190 days out? Thanks!

A few years ago, my husband and I both called at 7am 180 days out, and both got reservations - one at 8:00 and one at 8:10. This was for a date in August.

Hi got mine booked for 18th oct just 80 days out and it was for a group of ten for lunch!, the CM laughed at my phone squeeling  , from what i gather breakfast is the hardest ressie to get for the castle, i think you`ll be ok.

I booked crt breakfast for 01/29/07 a few days ago, I didn't phone at 7am, more like 5:30pm, guess I was just lucky, I got 8:20am :wizard:

Since you are going in July during a busier time of year, You should call on the morning 180 days before just to be sure of getting a table. Since I'm going in Dec. during a less crowded time, I was able to call about 120 days in advace and get the reservation I wanted. Although, when I did try to change it to a different date just recently, there were no more tables available on that date.

I called to switch our ADR for CRT 2 days ago for our December/January trip. We wanted to do the breakfast the mornign we left Disney but I could only get the lunch. It seems easier to get the lunch by far and i had no trouble getting the one for our orginal leaving date and then changing it to another day altogether. I thought i'd have much more trouble! Good luck!

I found it nearly impossible. However, I was able to secure a table at CRT for breakfast last December! My son wasn't too thrilled, but my husband and I loved it. princess:

I wish they would have a Villian Breakfast (for my DS10), although they would have to put a disclaimer on the ressie so little ones would not be scared. :stir:

I think it is very difficult and this is not a big restaurant. If you can call 6 mos out do it.

On the morning of August 5, 180 days before our check in date of Feb 1 2007, I woke up at 6:45 am EST and started dialing. I got through right away and was dismayed to find out that CRT was completely booked on the day I wanted (Feb 3, the second morning of our stay.) I WAS able to get a reservation for the LAST morning of our stay. This makes sense because for 7 days prior to my calling, that second morning had been available to Disney Resort guests making 180 +10 ADR's. So people had already been booking CRT since July 29. The last morning of our stay had only been made available to Disney guests since August 3, two days prior to my calling. Hence, CRT was not completely booked for the later date.

So my advice: when doing your planning, try to schedule the more popular, hard to get restaurants for the latter days of your trip. You will be more likely to get the date and time you want.

I called about 150 days in advance and booked my 1st choice timeslot for a party of 12 breakfast at CRT. We are going during Oct. so it is a slower time but I was surprised how easy it was. If it is a must-do- follow the other's advice and call 1st thing in the am- exactly 180 days out. Good luck!

JFlo lol I was calling on that day also. aug 5th the min the phone opened. I called for all my ressies and CRT first trip to wdw and our honeymoon. I got right through but obviously so did others cause I could only get a 9am and I wanted a first seating, but I told the cm that's fine I will take it no compliants at least I got a seating , so I would say yes it's difficult cause when I called back to add something the same day I checked just to see if there was an earlier time and they were sold out already. :bride: :groom:

I called last year at the 90 day mark right at 7am and got the time I wanted. I happen to call the other day to make ADRs for 1900 park fare for Dec 2006 and asked if there was a lunch spot available at the castle and there was suprisingly.

I got breakfast last year at the 90 day mark and this year lunch at the 180 day mark, both no problem. started dialing at 6:55 and kept hitting redial.

Just a thought: We liked breakfast better than lunch. Lunch menu was quite nice, and it provided a much-needed break from touring. We preferred being at MK at opening, spending a few hours touring before it got crowded, then when it was starting to fill up, we too a break at the castle.

Hi! I think adr's might be a bit easier now, due to the increase in cost and increase to 2 credits. Just a guess, though. We had no luck getting CRT for breakfast 2 years ago, but had our choice of times for two different mornings this time. I also think it helps that lunch is now a character meal. I'm not sure when that changed.

Another thought, and this may have been mentioned (I didn't read all replies). We tried calling on our 180+ 10 day mark and had no luck. It wasn't until we called on our exact 180 day mark that we got the adr's. I was told that they don't open all of their seatings before the 180 day mark. So, if you try early and don't get what what you want, try again on your 180 day mark, right when they open.
