How did your small toddlers do at Storm Along Bay at BC?

I'm starting to get nervous about our small toddler twins at the BC pool. They will be 17 months during our October trip. I know there is a kiddie area with zero entry and sand for the little kids. I am guessing we can also take them in life jackets or hold them in the deeper ends. I'm worried that they'll be all sand play and no water/pool play.

Did anyone take very little children to BC and love the pool? We can switch to the Poly or GF for the monorail access, but we LOVE the BC and the atmosphere there.

We loved it when our boys were 22 months old. We held them in the main part of the pool and let them go crazy in the sandy-beachy part.

One of ours even went down the little slide across the walkway, near the stairs for the main slide.

We took DS (3), although he is not keen about water. It was wondeful, because he went to the sandy area (at first he did not like the sand!!!), then he got used to that, then, slowly, he got used to the water. I thought it was great and for an 18 month old, I would definitely recommend it. Best pool around by a mile!!!!

This will be our 3rd year in a row staying at the BC. We started when DD was about the same age as your twins.

My kids, (DS is 9) love SAB. DH wants to switch every year and stay at the BW. But he gets outvoted since the kids like SAB way better then the scarey clown pool.

The shallow area is pretty large. The deep water area is in a completely different section. You'll need to watch them obviously but I'm sure it will be fine.

BTW, we'll be there in october too.

My youngest dd was 2 when we were there. She wore a swim vest all the time and swam with us all over. BUT, her favorite was the sand play. She also loved the little waterslide. You will have a great time!!
