How did your 4-5 year old like cruising?

On our first DCL cruise - 4 nights on Wonder, our DD was 4. She ditched us most nights for the kids club. I was freaking out a little on the inside, but we checked in every couple of hrs so (more for our sanity)... she knew we were around, but other than that - she thoroughly enjoyed her vacation. We couldn't have been more proud and happy that she was able to enjoy herself. So much so, it prepared us for cruise #2, where she pretty much ditched us again for the kids club at 8 yrs old. Cruise 3 is coming aug 2016, and she'll be a tween- 12 yrs old *cringe* - it will be interesting to see if she'll be as excited about the Edge club.

My DD just moved up to Edge on our last Disney Dream Cruise - Sept 2015, and she absolutely loved it. Spent more time running around with Edge kids then she did when she was Club/Lab age....Enjoy!
