How did your 3yo like their first time on Soarin?

When we first went to DL almost 11 years ago as a family, we had no idea what Soarin was(we weren't much of planners back then, and DL was a 4 hour drive from us, and we went during a dead time of year). Our plan was to ride everything there was that she could ride, she was 4, but tall for her age. She loved it! Now at almost 15, it is still her favorite ride ever. Ours was a thrill seeker, even at 4 though. She rode TOT once on that same trip, didn't hate it, but didn't want to ride it again, because quote "her butt came off the seat" ha ha ha.

DS was okay on it and he went at 4.5. The one thing I hadn't factored in (or figured out yet) is he has motion sickness and I think that didn't make him a fan of the ride. He was fine on it but didn't want to do it again.

My daughter loved it last year at 3.5. She loved Test Track, 7DMT, and BTMRR. Hated Barnstormer and Splash Mountain and Dinosaur (of course). Kids can be crazy! Lol. I want to try ToT this year.

We've ridden this quite a few times, but our son has just reached the required height. He's timid about rides that go up in the air. I know it's dark when the movement occurs on Soarin' so hopefully he won't realize how much he's moved. I just want to confirm that the 3rd row is the lowest row from the ground when it moves.

Thanks! My kid gets motion sickness in the car and is just now getting to the point where she can handle short (<30 minute) rides without feeling too carsick. She likes swings but only pretty gently, I think she is a little timid but as I remember Soarin is pretty gentle.

Update: OP here, we did a lot of prepping that this would be like flying like a superhero, DH and I were a bit concerned that she might freak out as we were getting on the ride, but she did GREAT! she sat between us and held our hands, and screamed with glee through the entire ride. The look of wonder and excitement on her face was priceless, and it's one of the most magical memories of the trip (so far). We got off and she wanted to go again. We had to explain that the standby time was 70 minutes....
