How did you spend your SNOW DAY?

We are having a great time! The kids were outside by 8:30am...then came in to have hot chocolate and watch Narnia. I napped a little, then tidied, went for coffee at a friends house. Came home and brought the kids and the dog out to the field and played. The dog pulled ds on his sled! The dog, kids and I had a great afternoon! We had another hot chocolate, played Disney Scene-It and Perfection! I'm starting a yummy hot dinner! dh will be home soon and will take the dog and the kids sledding again! I hope we have another SNOW DAY tomorrow! S

I told my class go home, put on their jammies and do the red screen dance with the weather network on. Do ya think it will work???

Same here, We were both at work and our DS went to School. Only the school buses were cancelled and my son in within walking distance to his high school.

I had to work today, too. But the big difference is that I work for CP Rail, and let me tell you, working outside in that weather was not fun! Glad to be back inside warming up.!

We got some snow, but wasn't a snow day here for the kids. I drove my daughter to school and then taught winter driving techniques all day. So basically I got paid to scare the crap out of people all day long!!!! The question is where is my paycheque from when I was a kid doing that? It is still just as much fun........

Hi
I always loved a snow day when my children were little. We received a ton of snow here in Hamilton. First almost a foot from the lake effect snow in the hours before the big snowstorm came and then the big snowstorm on top of that. I think they said 70 to 75 cm's of snow. But we had up to two meter snow drifts in alot of places. Could not get out our doors.

Sandra, my hubby had to make a path for our dogs in the backyard as our shelties would sink out of site. lol

I've never experienced a snow day I grew up thinking those lucky americans in the movies had all the fun.

It really wasn't that bad in the GTA.
