How did you score BOG dinner?

1) Find a concierge with a dining system OVERRIDE code.
2) They can add folks to any dinner, even if sold out. *
3) Example: Tables in RED on the dining computer screen are overrides.
4) We do this all the time.

* Capacity can be overridden for all meals except for
the Luau and HDDR, since there are truly capacity-limited.

Do you have to be club level for this? ^^^

And I tried again on the phone and computer this morning. I couldn't get any date from December 1-7.

I was on-line yesterday ( our 180+10 day) at 6am and was able to get BOG for 12/7 at 5:20pm. This was the first reservation that I did and per a tip from a CM at the dining phone line, I scheduled BOG for the end of our trip, knowing that the people for could make reservations for several days before us would get the reservations for the earlier days of our trip.

FYI - I also got 2 Chef Mickey reservations (b-fast and dinner), O'hana dinner, Askerhus breakfast and Tusker House breakfast. I was done by 6:20am yesterday morning.

My 180+10 was on Sunday June 2 and I inadvertantly slept in! By the time I woke up and logged on, it was already 7:30. I thought I was screwed. However, I found a lot of times on the day I wanted, 12/3, and was able to book without a problem. I wanted the latest res before MVMCP and I was able to get 6:45. We aren't attenidng the party that night, so I wanted to stay as late as I could.

My 180 day mark was today. I got online at 5:55 AM EST and searched for Be Our Guest first. I had 4 days that this dinner would have worked on. I started with the furthest one out (which is the date I wanted the most) and it was available. I had several times to choose from.

1) No.
2) The other few concierge I know are not on CL floors.
3) In fact, I can think of only two CL concierge with OVERRIDE codes.

Are these concierges with Override codes located in the resorts or the parks?

I wonder if this could have explained something that happened to us 8 or so years ago. We were trying to get the impossible CRT for breakfast and asked a very nice CM working in the lobby of POR if she could help. She was able to come up with one right away. So this trip we are staying YC and wonder if there is someone there who could help. I asked over the phone but was told no.

Do you know if tables are held for the concierges or do they get first shot at the hard to get ADRs? It would make sense and explain why cancellations hardly ever show up.

WOW! When do you travel? Wondering is it an off week? Lucky indeed. Yeah, I was online the second my 180 +10 window opened this morning and when I couldn't get it there, I called at 7 Florida time the sec the phones opened. I had to wait 20 minutes though for an answer. The rep was able to improve most of my reservation times on the phone but sadly couldn't do anything for me on BOG. She said the entire first week of December is booked solid.

Yes!! I was on the website at 6 am Tuesday for my 180 +1 to try and get BOG for December 2nd and there was nothing! This is just a short post cruise trip so we only had one choice for the day we could go. My daughter was disappointed :(. Well... On the brighter side we are planning to move to FL about 7 months after this trip so hopefully we can be flexible and go once we move there!

We are going on Oct. 29th and had our 180+10 in early May. We pretty much had our choice of days and times. I think we could have booked 7 of the 8 days we will be there, and multiple times for each day. Including prime dinner times from 5:45 til 7:30. We used the new web site. Makes me feel good that the parks may not be too crowded that week!

Out Feb trip I lucked out competely and was checking multiple times a day and managed to scoop up someones cancellation.

For Sept I called right at the opening time on the 180 mark for our vacation!

I got online at about 11am on our 180+10 and there were reservations available for days 3-8 of our trip. We booked two spots, one for each night we'll be eating dinner at MK - I can't wait. For my trip at the beginning of this month, I booked it in January so I definitely lucked out getting a dinner ADR at all, the downside was that it was at 8pm with Wishes at 9pm so that might have been why it hadn't been snapped up yet. I didn't want to miss Wishes so we had dinner elsewhere and then went to our 8pm BOG for dessert and a glass of wine.

How do we go about finding such a concierge? Just found out we can move our trip from Dec to Sept. I'm fine with lunch @ BOG, but I'd love a dinner at Cinderella's Royal table. Of course, it's all booked up. Thanks!

Checked daily and was finally able to score an ADR on 9/27 at 430pm. Woohoo! Cancellations happen so just keep checking!

I had to get it for our very last evening. So, if we were staying less than 8 nights I wouldn't have gotten it.

I had several dates and times available to book BOG when I went online when my 180+ 10 window was available. However, I chose not to book an ADR. I am not overly impressed with the dinner menu and actually prefer the lunch menu more as a CS rather than a TS. I'm thinking the hype and frenzy of this place far exceeds the reality of it. With that though, I am looking forward to seeing the inside of it but just not with a TS credit. ;)

That's exactly what we are trying to decide. If we should do lunch so we can check out a different restaurant for dinner.

This is what we did in May and what we plan to do again in September. We thought the lunch was delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic, especially in the West Wing. The food is even served on the same china they use for dinner. For us, except for the line to get in, it felt like a table service, but cost way less and opened up a slot for another table service.

Hi Rusty Scupper,
Could you please tell me how one would go about finding such a person? We're staying at SSR June 23 - 29. Should I ask at the resort when we get there, or should I call, or are these people located somewhere else?
Thanks for the info!
Gretchen

When our 180+ opened for an 11/23 trip the only time they had available was on our last night at 9:20. I've checked every days since - more than once - and never had it show another day or time as being available.
