How did you hear that you passed (or didn't pass!) ROFR?

ok, I know this is a silly question but just for fun I thought I would ask:

Did you get a phone call? email?
was it during the week? weekend? morning? night?
how long until you heard?

Can you tell that I am anxiously awaiting "the news" hehe!

Our guide goofed up by telling us not to sign one of the papers so it took longer for us. We got impatient and called directly. Some find out sooner than others. You just have to breathe deeply and wait it out. LoL Let me be one of the first to say congratulations and welcome home!

We found out via email last Wednesday that Disney waived ROFR! Now we're just waiting for the closing documents! :sunny:

We found out via email while in Disney two weeks ago. Passed RORF in one week. Checked home messages on answering machine from Disney and found a follow up phone call. :goodvibes

Did you get a phone call? email? We were called on the cellphone while we walked from our POP room to the car. We were about to drive over to EPCOT. Man, oh man, what timing...almost magical when it happened! We also received an email, but didn't get to open it until we returned home from WDW.

was it during the week? weekend? morning? night? Wednesday morning

how long until you heard? About 3 weeks

The only advice I can offer is to hang in there. The waiting is the hardest part, since you have absolutely no control over those events. While difficult, keep a positive attitude while waiting, because the results will be worth it.

Good luck, and hopefully, welcome home!

We got a phone call from the resale agent (Jaki Apetz). It was about 10 days after having our offer accepted...pretty quick so I think we were just lucky. It was definitely daytime during business hours.

We received an email on a Wednesday afternoon, just 12 days after the deal was submitted to Disney.

Good luck :) !

I have never been officiall informed. The closing agent just sent me the final paperwork!

when I woke up this morning I just couldn't stop thinking about our BCV contract that was presently in the hands of Disney awaiting the ROFR. That's one of the reasons I posted this question!
But wouldn't you know, I just got an email from the closing company and the TSS telling me that we passed!! Yippee! I am sooo happy! I can't wait until we are truely "owners" and all the paperwork is done and we can go home!
:cheer2: :yay: :dance3: :cool1:

Congratulations on passing ROFR! :cool1:

You might want to post the details on the ROFR thread to share the information with others in the same process.

And let us know when everything is final so we can welcome you home!! :thumbsup2

We put in an offer in August and exactly 3 weeks later were notified by our agent we did not pass ROFR. It was OKW at $86. I think they took it because there were points left for 2006 and new points can on April 2007. We were bummed. Not ready to try again yet, don't want to deal with the ROFR. Congratulations to you though.

I received a email, while I was on the computer, so I had a "ping" and checked the new email. It was on Beachclub with banked points and in less than a week, I was shocked! I really did not expect to get it. On my VWL purchase I was ROFR 3 times and passed on the 4th. I was on the verge of giving up on that one.
