How did you first learn about the Disboards? (2023 edition)

Must have just been searching for info before our first trip and found the Dis.

I came to the Community Board because I heard that was the best place to find the Tag Fairy. I received a tag from my very first CB post.

I stuck mostly to the boards, and I only started watching the youtube videos a year ago when we were readying for our cruise. I fell in love with Pete, but I really like the rest of the gang! Looking forward to August's event in DL

I was probably searching on YouTube for WDW-related content for our trip in 2013. I discovered the Community Board when I joined up, and although I look at the other boards when planning a trip, for the most part I hang out here.

Feeling gutted. This is going to read ambiguous, for a reason. But I discovered the news last week and have been processing it since. Yesterday's announcement on show helped solidify the validity. If you read the live chat from the last few weeks shows on YouTube, you can do your research from there.

Sad when someone you enjoyed watching turned out to be a fraud. Of course I have no personal investment, but I do have empathy. And that is why I am torn. Not trying to sound overly dramatic as I believe this reads, but just thinking I am supporting it by being on here makes me feel gross.

I am having those same feelings. It is truly upsetting to learn what has been going on.

No doubt we’re not alone, but it does feel reassuring that someone feels the same way.

The worst, confirmed by 2 former employees it happened to. However, it is up for you to decide after reading their stories.

The other issue is public record, you could find it with a simple search.
