How did you find US?

I found DIS after my 7th Disney/USO trip in 2005. A Disney employee told me about this site, and she said that if we had any questions, then this would be the place to go.

The whole DIS family has given me information that I would have never thought of, such as the secrets around US/IOA. This is also where I find out what new things are happening/coming to the parks.

LOVE US/IOA, AND ALSO THE WHOLE DIS BOARDS!

We went on our first DCL cruise in 2001; and my mom started planning everything in May 2000. I started researching DCL shortly after that, and found this board somehow, probably from Google. When we planned our trip to include 4 days in Orlando before the cruise, we wanted to go to IOA and I learned everything I needed to know right here!

well, actually at the time, i was using a website called big boards (huge message board directory) and i was looking for a theme park message board (as i'm a real thrillseeker)

so, searched for theme parks and found this 1 (okay, i wanted 1 on phpbb) but who cares?.

i thaught at the time, as i'm such a big disney fan, and would probably be an active member i signed up.

I was here because of WDW for quite a while but then DS started fussing to go to Universal. I came and checked out these boards and went to Universal and now I'm totally smitten.

I admit that I don't post much when we haven't gone in a while and don't have a trip planned. I mostly lurk because I don't have much to offer that's new. But I love reading here!

i found it as an obscure reference to a search i was doing. Since i live close to the attractions i thought it would be cool to be able to answer some of the many questions by actually paying attention to details as they concerned those with questions.

i found the disboards in the late 90's and joined then.

after the UO forums went up, i spent a lot more time here then.



i changed servers and screen name over 5 years ago and lost the post count i had then.

if you think i post a lot now, i did more when i first started up here.

I was planning our first family vacation back in Jan 99. I just did a search and found the DIS. WHat a find! I can only imagine how horrible our vacations would have been without all of you guys. Anyone remember the DIS Daily Fix?

Having the US boards is a life saver. I would have never known about Entertainment discounts (back then), SS, or AAA (including in park purchases), or even about the FOTL deal staying onsite either! Now, I know I can do a vacation reasonably and enjoy it 100%!
