How did you find DIS board?

The DIS was featured in a magazine article (I think Redbook) in January of 2000 (I think, have to check my registration date to be sure) and I was planning a trip for February so I joined in. Now I am addicted....actually I was addicted from the very first visit.

A 'Disney' search I think, back in early '99, looking for info for Dec '99 family WDW. Probably Yahoo or Webcrawler, before the days of Google.

I think way back when I frequented the AOL Theme Parks board someone mentioned this site. So glad they did. Now I never go back there.

I was researching Disney cruises, and found epinions, which had reviews from Barb & Tony (famous for now taking 37 Disney cruises). Their page linked me over here, and I haven't left since!

I was looking through some of the other Disney Boards (*if you want to call them that)LOL!
NOT!

And was dis apointed, most people just read* the posts and never answer, or the same people answer or there's one genius* (self appointed--of course)
A big pet peeve of mine!!!!LOL!

All the people who contribute have such an array of personalities it's great reading everyone's views on the Community/Budget Boards!


I love DISboards, there are a great array of questions, people,
interests and no matter what you know about Disney/or you think you may know, you can learn something daily!

This is the best board I have found!

Nearly all the people contribute something, not just read other people posts!!!
