How did you find DIS board?

I did a search when I was planning our first family trip. I registered and posted several times, but stop coming for several years. I came back since I started planning our next trip.

Someone told me about it when I was looking for height requirements for rides. Never found the boards at all--just the other info. Messing around last fall, I found these boards and became addicted!!! Now, even though I'm not planning a trip for awhile, I get to experience some "magic" every day with my friends here!!

I was on another message board about weddings while planning mine, and two members (dsneygirl, I think, from the Canadian boards) and wdwpluto (post on the eBay thread and weddings) told me about it. I now post more than they do! But we're still friends on the other board as well - in fact, I'm seeing wdwpluto in a couple weeks!

my grandfather in law sent me some printouts from the DIS to psych everyone up for our family cruise last year, so i decided to check it out more. lots of valuable info and friendly people so i stayed after we got back from the trip.

My mom was doing resort on the onsite hotels for Universal Studios, and came across this site. She'd often share information she found through the members here with me. I ended up joining, whereas she waited a while. Even now she rarely posts...can't say the same for me!!!

Well my family was going to WDW in August 2001, so I'm pretty sure I was doing a bunch of searches on Disney. And then in May I found this site, and since it looked like fun I decided to join!
