How did you choose your home resort? Second guessing

Purchased OKW mostly for the atmosphere... When we get to the later stages of the contract (no kids), we'll be able to enjoy the relaxing nature of the resort itself without ever stepping foot in a park. We bought at BWV for it being lively and within walking distance to EPCOT and HS. So far, in our opinion, OKW stands above all others for total experience.

We travel from Europe and don't always have a car for our entire stay - can I ask, do you need a car to make a stay at OKW work ? I've always liked the look of the resort (we own at BCV and AKV).

Another factor to think about with two contracts rather than one contract is the points transfer rule. As I understand it, Disney limits me to a single transfer per year, so if I had all my points in a single contract I could transfer them all, but as I have two separate contracts (even with the same use year) I'm forced to transfer one and rent the other.

Two contracts give you flexibility if you want to sell some points later, it's not an all or nothing. Which is a good thing - smaller contract also appear to sell better and have a higher value per point.
