How did this happen??

I just got off the phone with MDE tech support. I went to sign into MDE this morning using the same username and password that I've used from the beginning and all of my reservations were gone!:sad2: So I call tech support they tell me I'm signing in under the wrong username. They give me a username that I've never heard of to sign in with. :confused3 It works and all of my reservations are retrieved. WTH happened!! Why all of a sudden are my reservations under a username that I didn't create?? The CM's only explanation was that I had 2 accounts!! I'm so confused.

Had this happen to me last year. I was told that when I took a trip in 2002 that a user name was assigned. I have had an online account for years and have taken multiple trips. IT said they did a systems merge/upgrade and somehow those old accounts set up by Disney years ago got into the fray. I have been using the new one for months with no issues. We visited 3 times with magic bands, a cruise, ADR's, ME, etc with no issues.

This happened to me too! After many phone calls to Disney Tech support, we learned that my husband's ESPN account for Fantasy Baseball got linked to our MDE account. Now we have the same username and password for both. ESPN is owned by Disney so the systems are linked.
 
Something must be going on with MDE today (Robo's picture comes to mind again :lmao:) When I went in on the app this morning I had nothing in my account either. Fortunately I have visited Glitch City regularly for some months now and have sort of got used to what to expect, so I logged out and logged back in again and they automagically reappeared. :confused3
 
I'm gonna be... PEEVED... if everything is now linked into the ESPN account I opened in 2000 :faint:
 
I can't log in today. The same account I've been using for several years now comes back with the message, "Sorry, the Email or Member Name and/or Password do not match any in our system. Please try again or create a new account.
If you feel this message is in error, call (407) 939-4357 for assistance." And with a week to go until our trip!

I can still see everything on my phone app, even though I can't log in through the computer. I'm going to give it a day or two and hope it's sorted it out, but I can't help fretting a little over our ADRs and FP for Anna and Elsa and Mine Train.
 
they are having issues keep trying i did finally get through and could make fastpass+ changes

I know you can't log into MDE, but are you logged into the Disney website? It shows you are logged in at the top of the page if you are. Log out of there completely and then log back in. That worked for me.
 
I cant log in either.. I know its the right username and password, Glitch City is RIGHT!!:rotfl2:
 
UGH!!!!! same problem - its on my phone app but signing in on my laptop says invalid name. At least I have till beginning of July to get it straightened out. Thanks for the heads up!

I just tried to get into MDE and I got the same error message too! Hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow.
 
The same thing was happening to me. I left MDE and went to the main Disney site and I wasn't logged in. Logged in there and it worked fine. If that doesn't work I would try using another browser or clearing your history/cookies.
