How did the dinning plan work for u???

we are using the DDP for the first time this October and already I feel like I am getting a huge value! We have made reservations at TS restaurants for every day of our trip (2 breakfasts and 7 dinners) and without the DDP we would never eat at that many TS places. It has also opened us up to places we would normally not ever eat at because of price or something like that, such as Coral Reef & Le Cellier. And we are willing to do more "exploring" since we have the DDP and have made a reservation for Boma at the AKL. We have figured that we will pay OOP for breakfast most mornings and then use our CS credits for lunch. So far, every place we knew we wanted to eat at, take the DDP. We are really looking forward to it! :thumbsup2

I just came home Tuesday from 6 days on the DDP. The first time trying to figure out CS in the food court at the hotel was difficult...or rather, overwhelming! After that it was much easier...After the first day, you will be an ordering expert ! I think we ended up with a couple CS credits left after all was said and done but I still feel like it was a great value. I'd definitely do it again!

Anytime I had a question the CM's were very helpful. If DD6 wasn't totally happy with what she had, the rest of us just all shared our food with her, there was plenty. She was so enamored with the experience, she would survive on chocolate milk for a whole day because she "wasnt hungry" and then suddenly down a whole adult CS meal at some odd hour. I'd just eat her meal if she wanted mine.. :confused3 it wasnt a big deal for me. I'm a big girl, she is just 6, so I wanted HER to be the happiest Princess in the world. princess: DD11 ( going on 16) was more than happy with the adult menu.

There was so much food I only bought a few things OOP- a couple ice creams bcause I could eat it twice a day ( and did, lol) and maybe 4 drinks.

I'm looking forward to my first time using the DDP in September --- and the best part is it's FREE!! I have always eaten CS in the past, with only 1 (sometimes 2) TS meal. That usually satisfies my family.

:thumbsup2 TIP ALERT:I read on allears.net as well as the Unofficial Guide that a snack credit can be used on a box of entenmanns donuts (found in most gift shops--NOT the food courts)

By the way, all counter service & table service menus can be found here:
