I was on the garden walk website today peeking around and it said it is located between the main entrance and Disney's NEWLY ANNOUNCED THIRD PARK....????????? When was this announced? What are the details!?

there are none best i can tell. disney purchased a lot of land (between 50-90 acres depending on who you asked) that borders on katella ave and they've been open about introducing a third gate, but no solid plans have ever been introduced. rumors are that it would be a water park, but there are other factors at work.

There have been no new announcements about a third park. As part of DLR's battle with the city of Anaheim over zoning they have discussed (again) long range plans for a third park in the area that Brad mentions.

Alittle off topic, but I heard Disney purchased a HUGE lot of land outside of San Antonio. Anyone have any further info on this??

Wait so it does not mention it at the main gate entrance or it does?

Because i just came back from DL and i MISSED IT!

if they did show it

I heard that a little while back there were speculations about building a park called Disney America in Texas but have not heard anything since

officially there is no 3rd gate nor will be there one in the foreseeable future, especially with the DCA overhaul. gardenwalk is just referring to an unused lot of land that disney purchased several years ago with that intent (reportedly)

I would be ecstatic if they were building a new park in San Antonio but its not going to happen. :( They DID look into it but decided against it, it was on our local news a few months back.

If they did that, I would be visiting my sister in Austin frequently. Heck that might even be enought to make me move back to Texas.
