I'm staying onsite for one night the Saturday of Memorial weekend. How crowded will Pandora be by the time 11PM to 1 AM rolls around? Being onsite means I can go at that time either Saturday or Saturday night but I have no desire to go if the crowds will be insane. I'll be offsite for 3 weeks with an annual pass, so I can wait until the crowds thin out a bit. Would you go or wait a week or two?

Should I ask my Magic 8 Ball? Because if you want actual figures, that is the best you can do.

Well, since Pandora will be the only thing open during this special PM EMH,imagine EVERYBODY condensed into one relatively small area instead of dispersed through the whole park like for a regular PM EMH-I don't see how Pandora cannot reach "capacity" during the PM EMH.

i had it all arranged this morning at 7. Magic Kingdom Saturday night with Fp's and Epcot Sunday. I got Frozen at 2:30 for 3 persons but after 10 minutes of thinking about it, I couldn't justify selecting it and then 2 second tier attractions. So, I changed them to animal kingdom. For the 3 of us, plus the extra ticket assigned to another family member who isn't coming, I chose both Pandora rides, with 2 persons riding apiece, and then lot of other rides, up to 2:30. We will go back to timeshare and come back for rivers of life at 9:45, and then stay through at least part of the 11PM to 1 AM period to see if it stays crowded. I'll let my two kids use my FP and the other ones assigned to the fourth kid, who isn't coming. I'm sure that I'll get a chance to ride both Pandora attractions at some point during our 3 week stay. I do have one question. I'm not entering the parks with the fourth ticket but plan on using it for FP's for the 10 days of the ticket. I'm assuming that, when I use the FP's linked to the ticket (with a magic band), I won't be using up days on the ticket. Does anyone know for sure?

yeah im not sure this is a good idea
one land open at one time
the land will be slammed

We will have done the 2 Pandora attractions earlier in the day, so we may just walk around for an hour. I've been to Disneyworld over Christmas/New Years before and will be going back this coming Christmas, so we are used to a crowded park. We do have FP's for ROL, so at least that part should be less crowded.

I don't think it will be as bad as others are saying. When Rivers of Light lets out, there will be a mass exodus of people who stayed for that. Half of those will depart, the other half will check out the prospects of doing a ride in Pandora. There will be a surge in lines at this time. After this, the lines will shorten. Those comparing it to the MK after hours squeezed into Tomorrowland... I don't think it's like that because the AK doesn't get the same crowds, and those that do will not stay that late. As an example, we're as excited as anyone to see the new land, but have only planned 1.5 days in the AK. 4 days in the MK. Even w Pandora, it hasn't really changed our touring strategy all that much other than to add a half-day. Add to this there are no FastPasses during EMH... the rides will be 100% on standby so they'll move faster.

They don't get those crowds now, but you don't think they will when the new land is open? It hasn't changed my touring strategy at all - still planning two mornings at AK, but, we are going to visit one of these EMH nights just because it sounds cool and we can. I would be shocked if thousands of other people aren't thinking the same way.

They'll get more people thru the gates... but, they've also added so much capacity. The AK used to be a 9 hour park. Now it's 17 hours, almost double. And every day this late, not just one day in the week. I'm not saying they'll be walk-ons, I'm just not anticipating massive crowds till 1am. Now when Disneyland opens with Star Wars, That's going to be the huge draw people are talking about. This -- will be big, but things will die down by midnight. We'll stay late one night like you just to check it out, but having ridden both rides during the day, and again after the show, there won't be a pressing need to stay till 1am.

when I got mine online it had an order number. my best guess is the # you got had nothing to do with how many that event but how many the system has processed since they started to use it.. this way if you call you can refer to the unique order number to look you up.

I also wouldn't be shocked if we're talking 3000 per time slot. I'd say up to an hour wait per ride and there is only 2 rides and you have only 2 hours. I would size it like that and it'll probably be much less than will be there opening weeks.

I would be willing to bet that they will close the lines down around 10PM because they are not going to keep it open until 4AM. I would venture to say that it will be 3+ hours at 10PM putting the back of the line on the ride right about closing time.

the way to understand how crowded they expect Pandora, look at the EMH schedule. When they have 7 weeks of 11PM-1AM EMH just for that, then it is expected to be Super Slammed. I expect it to be so packed people will be turned away from even entering.

I anticipate a crowd level of 'hellish'. You won't be able to stir the people with a stick.

Literally laughed out loud, with a mouth full of iced tea. Pardon me while I try to clean up my keyboard now lol.

Agree-very possible.

These will be the first PM EMHs ever with only ONE "land" open, with only TWO attractions available and only ONE dining option.

Then factor in the "newness" and EVERYBODY is going to want to go see it.

I just don't see how it can't be Claustrophobia City in there-Guests may even be trying to climb the Floating Mountains to get out of there!lol:)
