As many trips as I have made to Disney, I have never been in March. How crowded can I expect it to be the week of 3/23-3/29?

TIA

Amy

I would like to know about the crowds too. Our family will be arriving on 3/25 for 9 nights. I'm taking the kids out of school in hopes that we will miss the spring break and easter break crowds. And what about weather?:earsgirl:

We've been at WDW the last week in March 8 out of the last 10 years. The weather has always been wonderful. The crowds have varied quite a bit. Since Easter is so late this year I don't think it will be too bad. The down side might be that staffing might be on the low side.

I agree with bcv23, probably wont be too crowded with Easter coming much later. We've been the last 5 years for our spring break and have seen varying crowds, with it being much more crowded the closer Easter is to our spring break.

Crowds have been down at Disney in general.
However, we are planning a last minute trip either the weeks of 3/23, 3/30 or4/6. Because I will not know which week until around the 15th of March, I have been checking room rates. I have been using the Disney website, AAA, and expedia. Through AAA and expedia, everything is available. Through Disney, recently, I could not get any room at CBR or CSR for any of those weeks. So who know's what is going on there. It keeps changing though, I guess it's too unpredictable at this time.

thank you!

We just got back two weeks ago and some times it was deserted. On Sat though, it was packed. so I am nervous about this trip (going to celebrate DD's 5th Bday)

thanks again

Please understand that I am not attacking here...but...

Why are you nervous about the crowd situation at Disney World?

It sounds like you've made a decision to go, so go. You have no control over the crowds, therefore, you shouldn't have any stress.

I only say this because your posts are a little disturbing to me. (And I admit that maybe I'm reading something completely different in your posts, and if that is the fact, then I profusely apologize.)

A lot of people (and I mean a LOT) of people are not going to Disney World this year for one reason or another. You're going. You're taking your family (how cool is that?). So go and enjoy it.

Do some prior planning: check out early morning days and EE nights (if they are available).

But please...don't stress over the crowd situation.

Don't worry about the crowds... the will be what they are. If you use fastpasses and go to the parks early, you will be able to do and see alot.

It is your 5 year olds birthday, go and enjoy... and if it is a bit crowded, use that time to do things you normally don't do.

We will be there at the same time as you, and I am just glad we can go at all.

I hope that everyone who has planned a WDW vacation gets the opportunity to go and enjoy it and not worry about anything.

We'll be there too!!! 3/20-3/27 CBR celebrating DS 5th b-day!!! Crowds? Who cares!!! I won't be trudging through 27 inches of SNOW!!!!!

I think people should be able to ask about crowds during a time they don't usually go without being scolded! It helps in planning if you can anticipate the crowds. Have a great time, gravymom. We'll be there, too. 3/25 to 4/5...can hardly wait!

Thank you BVC.

I am just trying to get a idea of what kinds of crowds to expect.

As for you Redbeard,

you may not think you are attacking, but let me tell you, it feels like one. If my post "disturbes" you, I can only imaging what other posts on this board do to you. My post was innocuous, at its very worst.

If you must know, I am worried about the crowds because I have a neurological condition that prevents me from spending more than a few hours a day at the parks. I am trying to determine what we can do during this trip so I can prepare my little kids in the event we cannot do as much this trip as we have in the past. There, ya happy?

Thank you to everyone else who tried to give me a little insight into this time of the year at the world.
