How crowded was Aug 19 - 26?

So many kids are back in school by that time...I wondered, how bad was it? I was planning to take my teens out of school next Fall at the end of the first marking period but now that this school year has started and I again witness their workloads...I am having second thoughts. We have never been at the most crowded times. We have been in October and May and both trips were great. I am wary of August. Any advice?

We were there this past Aug 18-26. Friday and Saturday (the 18th & 19th) were VERY busy. Sunday morning (the 20th) was still quite busy, but much better...by Sunday afternoon, the parks were noticeably less crowded. Monday the 21st through Saturday the 26th, the parks had half the crowd volume. From what we could tell, it looked like the summer crowd levels really ended the weekend of the 19th. We had a great time!!
