Hi Everyone! My usual time to go to WDW is in early December. For the first time, I am considering November, as long as I can also attend MVMCP. This year, Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11th.
Do you think the parks will be more crowded at this time ???

Thanks so much !

No.

It'll be about the same as early December, maybe a smidge slower.

We've been Veterans Day week every year since 2012 and never noticed the crowds as being any bigger. I don't think every school has that day off. We're going again that week this year! November 7-15!

Nov is my absolute favorite time to go. Weather is good, crowds are good etc. I would just avoid Thanksgiving. I don't think Veterans Day draws in huge crowds, maybe just for the weekend, but not bad.

OK, not to rain on anyone's parade here, but we were actually in the MK on Veteran's day last year (2014) and the place was PACKED! They even announced extended park hours just before the start of the afternoon parade. We were blown away by the masses, and (somewhere) I have crowd photos to prove it. It felt like a summer's day visit to us.

I would disagree that Veteran's Day crowds are similar to early December. I looked not too long ago, and early December TP crowds were predicted at 2s and 3s. We were there over Veteran's Day in 2014, and crowds were more like 6-8s than 2s/3s. The Wine and Dine 1/2 Marathon in Epcot is the weekend before Veteran's Day (Nov 6/7th this year), and that increases the crowds a bit through the holiday (at least that's what we observed last year).

If we don't do the Wine and Dine run this year, we're looking at going the following weekend - starting Nov. 13th. Crowds in 2014 were lower at that point than they were the previous weekend into Veteran's Day.

We've been to WDW on Veterans Day for several years now. Its really not that bad. Certainly busier than the non-holiday weeks before/after, but nothing to worry about. This year Veterans Day falls on a Wednesday which makes it more awkward for folks to turn it into a long-weekend trip to WDW. I'm guessing attendance will be lighter this year that last year.
