How crowded is President's Day Weekend and Week

If you've recently gone during President's Week could you tell me how crowded it gets? Is it like a summer crowd or less or more???

I'd like to know the answer to this also.

We will be leaving the Thursday ahead of President's Day weekend, but I noticed that our last night is considered holiday or peak rate. Does that mean it will already be crowded several days BEFORE the weekend?

Get up early. Utilize early entry park. Go back to your hotel at 10:00 - 10:30 am.... eat lunch... and pick any non-early entry park for the afternoon. Have dinner with a pre-arranged priority seating and go to bed. Same next day.

Presidents Week is the best for planning ahead!!! I already have Hoop de doo, Poly Luau, and front row seats (Row A) for Cirque du Soleil on 2/14. Waiting for 90 day window to tidy up Cindy's Breakfast, Pirates Treasure Cruise. Calling from time to time to try and line up DiveQuest and Bass Fishing.

I have stated this in other threads, but it is worth repeating. Almost all of my 13 or so trips from Vermont have been during the Presidents Day timeframe.

It can be crowded but not elbow to elbow crowded. I stated that I like a certain number of people in the parks for a couple of reasons. Number one is that it makes the parks seem alive and teeming with excitement. Number two, the fact that there are more people in the parks means that MOST of the attractions are up and running (CoP & Timekeeper the most notable exceptions).

I have been there when it was more crowded and I frankly didn't like it, too much humanity. That week is just right. Not to many, not to few. In short, in my opinion, the best time to go...period!

We went during this time and found the crowds weren't too bad. After Monday the park was great. I'm not sure but i think the south doesn't get the whole week off. They also had Rosie Show during this week so we avoided MGM till she went home. The weather turned out great, I was sorry I didn't bring shorts, just capris. I did carry sweatshirts into the parks but we never needed them. I hope you have weather as nice. Enjoy, Gina

We were there this past Pres. Wknd arriving Wed. night. Thurs. & Fri. were not very crowded Sat Sun & Mon were busier but not unbearable. We made sure we hit MK on Thur & Fr & stayed away on Sat to be safe. Have fun

I've only been there once during pres. weekend, a number of years ago, and it was the most crowded i have ever experienced it. Hardly got onto anything. Glad its lightened up since then. Have a great time.

I was there Feb. of 2002 during that time frame. My little brother was in a program at school that goes to Disney World and I went as a chaperone. I will never go again at that time! It was so crowded! We could hardly walk through the streets there were so many people. The wait times for everything were 90 minutes or more. Fast passes were gone for the day during the morning hours. We were at Magic Kingdom one day for about 8 hours and only got on 3 rides. The day we went to MGM all we could do was Tower of terror and Rock'n'Roller Coaster and that took almost five hours. I've been during the summer and over Spring Break as well and thought that President's Week was by far the worst!

We're planning a little getaway for Pres weekend, leaving on the Wednesday before. For everyone who said it's crowded, can you compare the crowds to the crowds that may be there in say June or July?
