How crowded is MK this month?

We will be headed down for a short stay from 15th - 18th of this month. Has Magic Kingdom been packed recently?

We are heading down the 23rd to epcot and magic kingdom. The most I've heard is that it is really crowded some days.

The later in the month you get, the less crowded it will be. It was EXTREMELY crowded last week! Difficult to get much done, and the lines were very long, with FP's running out around 4 in the afternoon.

The later you wait, the better off you will be, crowdwise!

WDW just extended the hours on the 21st and 23rd. That means they are expecting a larger crowd. We are heading down on the 20th and don't know what to expect. Looks like FTP worked for Disney given some of the reports I have read about the crowds lately.

After just spending a week there - my advice is to get there early!!!! You will get more done between 9am-12 noon (8am-12 noon if it opens 1 hour early) than you will get done between 12 noon and 10 pm. We found that by 12 noon most of the lines were very very long - but were no more than a 10 minute wait at 11:00 am.
