We are going in Sept. - how crowded will it be? We can go anytime during Sept or Nov. but Sept. seemed better. Am I right? Any great tips for that month?

We went last sept. right after labor day and it was empty. Never waited more than 10 min for a ride.

We went at the end of september 2 years ago. In my opinion the best time to go. It was still warm and we had either no or a minimal wait on the rides.

I just checked and there is the Night of Joy Sept 9-11 at the MK. (Its a lineup of several popular Christian artists.) So either that's cool because you'll get to hear some great music, or not cool because it'll be crowded. Also, if you're planning your trip like the end of Sept into October, the Food and Wine Festival starts at Epcot Oct 1. I've always wanted to see that.

That's why we are going in Sept. I am really wanting to go to the first 2 nights of the night of Joy!

I visited the MK on 12-SEP-03 (last September) and I couldn't believe how low the crowds were. Fast Pass was not in operation; I assume because the standby lines were very short.

I hope this holds true for this year, as we are going in September. The last couple of times we went in July and August respectively and the crowds weren't unbearable, but it was fairly crowded. We still had a BLAST!!!::MickeyMo

We went the week of Labor Day and it was dead. Actually, it was kind of creepy being so empty! But, no wait in lines. IIt did rain a lot.

We are going the Friday before Labor Day thru the next Friday, is it really that creepy with the crowds being low? Is it mostly adults in the parks and resorts? We are taking family members who have never been to WDW and we want this to be a good experience for them.

We are planning to be there Sept 13-17..

Should we purchase the 4 day Hopper plus or the 5 day...what about the Ultimate pass????
Unsure of what would be the best for my family of 5
3 kids, ages 5,7,and 9..

I really didn't think it was creepy with the low attendance. I thought it was nice. Plus I bet the weekend and Labor Day will be pretty crowded.

When we were there in September is was mostly adults and British children. I don't know if the UK had a break then or what, but that's who was there.

Crazy, I think it depends on when you get there. If you're getting there in the evening it won't pay to get the UPH. If you're planning on going to the water parks then you can get the 4 day plus and use the plus and not go to the main parks one day.

We went the end of Aug & 1st week of Sept and left the Sunday before Labor Day. I t was dead. We walked all the way up to the CM's loading at Splash Mtn. We thought they closed the ride and we had somehow slipped through a closed sign ?!?! We walked up the CM's were leaning on the loading que posts and were startled to see us!! That was creepy. Never waited more than 10 min.

Late Sept., early Oct. is our favorite time to go. The lines are minimal. You can easily ride everything that you want. Not sure why people think it's "creepy" when it's not crowded. I think it's great. Who wants to stand in lines forever, or be crowded everyplace you go? The weather is great and just getting past the rainy season. In fact the last two times I've gone I don't think it rained at all. Have a great trip!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Hmmm..I like the way this sounds....not many people in the park :D We are planning a trip from Sept 5-11 at WDW. Does anyone know what the hours are like. I was thinking with summer being ofically over after Labor Day the parks would close early...does any one know?? And what about the night time shows...like the fireworks and parades?? We will have a 3 day pass for WDW one day at US and one day at SW. So we are trying to decide which parks to hit on which days.

I was thinking Labor day would be crowded at MK...but the park may be open later and have more shows and parades...that wouldn't be offered later that week. Does any one know about this also??

We went two years ago over Labor Day weekend. The crowds were very manageable. Heat was the probley. If I remember correctley it hit 95 and above every day we were there. But what do you expect ofr Florida. If you can handle the heat go in September.

PS October is also a great tiem to go. Not as hot and crowded.
