How crowded are the pools in June?

We are trying to decide between value, moderate and deluxe. We've never been to WDW in the summer so have never been too concerned with the pool. Do the All Star pools get more crowded than the moderates or deluxes? We would love to save the money and stay at a value but also don't mind splurging. If we do splurge we prefer a resort that's close to the parks (ie Epcot or monorail). We are traveling with 4 kids 11 and under and MIL and FIL. We plan to go to the water parks twice and take a "swim break" most afternoons. I know all of the pools are more crowded in June but are there any that are almost impossible to find a chair or swim in? Thanks!:D

It's pretty crowded when we've been there in June, since the Southern kids are all off school. However, the joy of All Stars, is you can just move to one of the other pools. There are 6 pools you can swim in. Music is usually the quietest, and we often leave Sports and walk over to Music (5 minutes) to enjoy peace. Weekdays aren't too bad at any of them, since most people are in the parks..weekends are more noisy.

No problem at AKL second week in June 02. Busiest time pool was about 2/3 full.

Well, do you want to swim, or just stand there and get wet. If you are looking for the latter, you won't feel crowded at all!

We've visited WL and POR in June and there have been times when it was almost impossible to find a chair that wasn't occupied by a either a human or a towel. The main problem is that large groups will go to the pool and every individual will place a towel on their own chair but most will not even use the chair. If an adult takes a bunch of kids to the pool, most of the kids do not need their own chair because they spend all of their time in the pool and on the slides.

The afternoon pool breaks are a good idea though and we always had room in the pool to move around a little and use the slides.:p

The secondary pools at WL and POR were less crowded and seemed to have more empty chairs.
