DH and I are traveling May 14-17. Our flight arrives early, so our plan is
spend the 14th at Epcot,
attend SWW at HS on the 15th and morning of the 16th.
Hop to MK in the afternoon of the 16th

The MK is open until 2am on the 16th. I'm assuming the crowds are pretty thin that late?

We like evening EMH at MK as there are quite a few rides that participate, so it spreads the crowd around the park.

I am always surprised at the amount of people that stay until 2AM. If MK's EMH hours are from midnight-2AM, then the later you stay the less the crowds are. We find the crowds to be pretty large at midnight and then as the night goes on the crowds lessen and lessen. We rode Space Mountain 5x in a row with no lines at 1:45AM up until the ride closed at 2AM.

Awesome, is there a place to find a list of what rides participate?

There is. Idk how to post links on here but if you google it a list will come up! Its all the big ones for sure.

splash mountain is a big exception. I was really surprised and disappointed last summer to learn it doesn't run for evening EMH (and I really don't get why--I was there in August and even at midnight it was sticky hot. the cool down would have been great!). otherwise the list is pretty good, and I'm a big fan of evening hours, just make sure to get to the laughing place before they start.

Splash doesn't run anymore??? Are you kidding me?? AWE NUTS!!! Last we were there it did and we rode it over and over and over.

I know! I was really disappointed too, because we could have fit it in earlier in the evening, but we wanted to save it for later in the night. I also did just double check that this wasnt a fluke last August--touringplans doesn't include it on the list of evening EMH attractions (not sure if I can share the link: http://touringplans.com/magic-kingdom/attractions/evening-extra-magic-hours)

Here ya go...right here on the DIS
The list shows morning EMH participants and then adds ALL OF THE MORNING OFFERINGS PLUS the Evening participants (Looks like Splash Mountain is included in this list). I don't know which is more definitive.

This might be a silly question but does the Magic Kingdom have late night hours in October? I was thinking because of mnsshp they wouldn't. Am planning a trip for Halloween week and wasn't sure. Thanks!

What do we need to prove we are resort guests? And the busses do run that late right? I think I read they do, but doesn't hurt to ask.

Can anyone confirm whether 7DMT is open? It is only listed on the touring plans list. I might be back to the Drawing board for tour plan of it is not.

From the touring plans link:
A valid admission ticket or MagicBand wristband is required to enter the park, and you must show your resort ID or have your MagicBand scanned when entering. For evening EMHs, you may be asked to show your Resort ID or scan your MagicBand to experience rides or attractions.

In general buses will run from 1 hour before a park opening until one hour after park close.
Here is a bit more info from the Disney website

They do have EMH in October however quite often they are not as late. More like 11 pm or 12 am. They get later during busy weeks when heavy crowds are expected.
