I just book our vegas trip last nite and since its so last minute the airfare wasn't that good so I booked what I could

coming home I did get wanna get away fare going out the cheapest was

anytime fare--I also booked EBCI around trip for the 2 of us

so now Im thinking it wasn't that much more to do business class and autumaticlly be in A1-15 at time of booking it was $28 PP but then you don't need EBCI

if I would want to do business class would the EBCI be put towards the upgrade or refunded since I wouldn't need it then?

how Im thinking is if the upgrade is $28 but I already paid EBCI for 12.50 that's only a difference of $15 PP

would you do it and how do you think southwest would handle it

thanks--any advice would be very helpful--Im used to doing WDW not out west!!

also anyone know of a good shuttle in vegas--were staying at the Excaliber

I'd call southwest. AirTran would refund the seat fee it you moved up to business class so I imagine SW would too.

would be incentive to spend more to me. EBCI is gonna get you on fairly early. So, unless you want the first couple of rows or the exit row, I wouldn't bother with business class.

You also earn more points per dollar with a Business Select fare. You will get double the points per dollar that you would earn purchasing a Wanna Get Away fare, 20% more than the points earned with an Anytime fare. You also get a free drink. Since you are comparing Business Select to an Anytime fare, you would earn 20% more points and get a free drink for your $15/person.
