We have just decided to plan a WDW trip for November 2005. We only make the trip every 3 or 4 years. What I am wondering is if I look at codes that become available for November 2004, will I be likely to find similar pricing for November 2005?
In years past, it has generally been consistent year to year. However, in the last couple of years Disney has been experimenting with special packages leaving some periods (like last Sept.) without codes. They've also been experimenting with Disney Visa Specials, postcard codes and comeback rates. So room only codes like found in newspapers or even for the AP may become a thing of the past, limited in availability or remain the same. Who knows. Time will tell which strategy wins out for Disney. My advice is not to count on them. Book what you can comfortably afford and be happy with without discounts and then, if they come out, upgrade if desired. That way you won't be disappointed or financailly strapped if discounts go by the wayside. HTH.
It depends on a lot of things but I wouldn't count on it when you are doing your planning. When the time gets closer you can make a reservation and then watch and see if there are any discount codes. Book the resort you can afford without any codes.
