I'll try to make this as short as I can. We have a studio then 2 bedroom booked for the upcoming weekend. I just tried checking the info on the WDW site and it told me the reservation number didn't exist. :confused3 So I log into DVC site and they changed our numbers, which I have heard has been happening. This doesn't bother me but then I took the new numbers back to WDW and it says our last name doesn't match. :confused3 Why would this happen? When we originally booked the Studio it was just for our family and then we recently added in a friend, so why would they change the primary from the DVC owner to the new guy??? Should I call MS and change it?? It also seems that it was changed on the 2 bedroom portion? again Why?

Is this something that can really affect check in? Those of us in the Studio are all arriving at the same time. So we will all be there, still I think I will call just so that they know there is this strange glitch, What do the rest of you think?

Oh and it seems like the WDW site is acting up because when I try to retrieve details, to make sure all the names are in and correct is goes to the tinkerbell please wait thing and then never loads! Ugh so frustrating

I would call and check on it, especially if you want to use a room charge. When we arrived for our last reservation they had left my DH off the reservation and could add him on but not with room charges allowed unless they rebooked the whole reservation.

I don't know that I would be concerned, but I would call tomorrow to figure out what in the world is going on so it's all settled before you arrive.

I was told by a Senior DVC CM that it's DVC using software that isn't designed for the DVC, it is designed for Disney cash reservations. It has glitches and since it isn't a Disney cash issue, Disney isn't quick to address the problem if they ever do.

We had this happen for our August reservation. When we got to the gate at SSR we gave them our name and we "weren't on the list". Our travel mates in the 2BR were. When we got to the front desk, we just gave them the other name and checked in.

For our reservations, I had printouts where I was the primary on both and everyone was on the reservation since I made it. Something changed along the way, but it didn't effect anything except my pride :).

We have another reservation for October and I got an email last week to "The YYY Family" where they are the 4th person staying in our room (and we are the other 3 with the same last name).

As long as everyone is on the reservation (The primary doesn't matter), then there will be no issue with room charges.

We had the mixup for our September stay. My 2 bedroom was not listed with my name, but with a DGF's. ME information was under that name as well. When I got home, the "comment" card came addressed to my DGF at my address. I mailed a complaint to our Member Satisfaction team and received a phone call from Travis who insisted that they were doing what they can to fix the situation. He said that the information LOOKED correct going into the computer. I hope it doesn't happen again.

Thanks everyone for the kind replies! This is just stressing me out a little but it will have to wait as we have to get the dog to the vet :sad1: for some reason he has choosen now, 3 days before our trip, to get sick! I'm still hoping to talk to MS about this but if this dog dilema prevents me it sounds like we will be just fine.

Thanks!!
