How come the axles did not fall out of Fred Flintstone's car?

You, sir, have a LOT of free time! :D

BTW, I once wondered the same thing!

Wow... guess there's not much to do in Pensacola if this is what you spend your day thinking about.... :bored: hey wait- guess there's not much to do on the other side of the state either, if I have time to read this post!!

Since you have so much time on your hands, would you like to come write the 3 papers I have to do by next weekend? ;) :)

Are we talking about the log thingie? I always wondered why it didn't fall off too.

Apparently Steve and I both have alot of time on our hands. :earboy2:

I admit I thought about it also.

I never thought of that...

But I have wondered...

How did he drive at the begining of EVERY episode, without shoes!?!?!?!

I know i have wayyyy toooo much time on my hands...

1) why did Fred always order ribs when he knew they would tip the car over?

2) Why did Joe Rockhead have a volunteer fire department when the entire town is made out of rock?

When Fred puts the sabertooth house-tiger out at night and the cat jumps back in the window, why does Fred bang on the door like he's locked out? Why doesn't he just go through the window like the cat did? The window is open--they had no glass in the stone age!!!

I never thought of that...

But here is another cartoon question...
Did the coyote REALLY want to catch the road runner? I mean REALLY?

I never thought about the axles falling off when I used to watch the Flintstones. In fact, I probably didn't know what an axle was back then! But I always wondered how anyone cound drive a car with their bare feet. Looked painful, especially when they had to stop short.

Wouldn't he burn his feet everytime he brakes.

And was that a really really long hallway they walked through to get to the front door? Or were they just walking in circles to pass the time?

Wouldn't they hear better on the phone if they listened in the big part of the shell and not the closed pointy end?

And why didn't Wilma and Betty ever wear anything different when they were doing all that shopping?

When I was little, that used to bother me when the cat locked Fred out...and why didn't Dino have the sense not to stick his head through the cloth roof of the car when they were at the drive-in movie?

How did the bees in the clamshell shave fred's face?

DH says the bees vibrated the shell which made it open and close which shaved his face.

DH agrees with you completely. He just drew me an exact replica of the car so he could explain exactly what you meant. Now who has too much time on their hands?

Don't you remember? Joe would ring the alarm for a fire, and all the guys would go down to the station and play cards. That is, until Wilma and Betty found out and ratted them out to the other wives

I wanna know why there aren't any blacks in Bedrock..

And I saw one episode where they celebrated Christmas. How were they able to predict the birth of Christ thousands of years in advance?

As for the car, must be some undiscovered Cartoon Law of Physics

Man, all I can think about now is the little baby elephant that Wilma attached to some wheels and made vacuum up the dirt on the floor. That poor thing sneezed all the time.

I'm calling PETA in the morning.
