Does anyone know if you get early entry into Typhoon Lagoon if you have a Beachcomber Shack reserved?

I have never heard of this qualifying guests for early entry and it is not indicated on the Disney website.

I can't see them offering this as it would require the entire water park being manned with lifeguards for just a few guests but, I could be wrong.

:thumbsup2 Thanks! Just checking in case it's like Volcano Bay and they give you extra time since you waste some time during the check-in process.

You don't get early entry but they do open the gates to all around 30'ish mins before park opening and you can check in/get your wristbands and cups/etc and many (maybe all?) of the shacks are in areas that are accessible at that point while paths further into the park are still roped off until park opening time. Time it well and you can get there/get unpacked/sunscreen on/etc and be primed to hit the rides right at rope drop. I'm not sure if that applies to all of the shack locations though, the last three we have have had been in the 21-27 area in the image below and that are is accessible.

I am anal with by water park arrival strategy and definitely like to get there early to be among the first in the tapstyles, among the first at High N Dry to check in for the shack, etc. Those are valuable minutes to use wisely, IMO... because we like to hit the rides hard for an hour before crowds build in.

Have fun!

Hello GADisneyDad14! I saw your older Typhoon Lagoon post about "being anal with water park arrival strategy" and I am the same way! Question for you: When have you found to be the earliest time you can enter the parking lot and get in line for the water park? I am trying to get a specific Beachcomber Shack for my father (with a medical disability and can't get around easily). Disney doesn't allow you to book a specific one, but they said I may be able to do so if I get there early enough. I am willing to stand around however long it takes, but I can't seem to find a specific answer to when I can enter the parking lot. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Hmm - good question. I'm not aware of any actual parking lot closure/stopping you from getting in, granted I've never been there THAT early to really know. My earliest arrival time has probably been +/- 9am for a 10am opening. TL often has surf group events/etc in the AM so there will already be a few cars around.

I'd say if you arrive at 9am'ish you'll be the first or among the first checking in for shacks whenever they let you in the park. Hope that helps!

Small edit to my 2022 info above in case anyone reads it as current, they used to let you in that shack 21-27 area once checked in but before park opening so you could unpack/etc, but in my more recent visits last year they have things roped off to a point so you can't get all the way there until opening.
