How cold is the Aquatica water right now??

We leave Thursday and I know it is warming up this week but the evenings are still dropping like a stone so is the water freezing in the pools and slides at Aquatica? Looks like we'll be there on a day where the high is 70 so hoping the water is warmer than that!!

At Aquatica, the water is as warm as the South Seas themselves--actually, warmer. We have a state-of-the-art climate control system that adjusts the water temperature according to the weather so that it's always just right. The water can be heated up to 84 degrees.

Hmmmm, great theory but I am curious if they can do it by 9am when it went down to 30 degrees the night before??? Hoping it's at least 80 in the water.

I would assume that it is computer programmed to register the temps fairly often to adjust accordingly...

Water temps don't change like the air. Especially large bodies of water... That's why coastal areas stay warmer than inland areas.

So even if the temps drop 30 degrees at night, the water will probably only drop a few degrees. But pool filters have to be going constantly anyways, so it's unlikely they'd allow a large change in the temp. As long as 70's feels warm to you, then go for it. For me, it has to be closer to 80 to feel warm and be ok in and out of the water.
I went to Blizzard one winter when it was like 75 degrees and froze my butt off getting in and out of the water, but being in the water wasn't so bad.

We went last Feruary and the water was incredible. It is always cold when you get in the lazy rivers at Disney parks but Aquatica was great.

Roa's river is the warmest body of water anywhere. It's definatly the first thing i hit to get used to the water.

We were there today, and the water was wonderful!!! Of course the warmer it got during the day, 80 degrees or so, the water felt cooler!! It wasn't, it just felt cooler cause we were so hot! Have fun!
