How close is BLT to the 1000 mark?

I think they are still saying that they are not there yet, and you can get your name on the building, but got to thinking...how close are they??

I was surprised to hear this too. I thought the word was they had met the 1000 even before they went up for sale (people in cue with contracts), if that was even possible.
Do you think that sales are in fact slower than we think?

I don't know where they are now but I added-on November 7th and was part of the 1000.

Wow nearly 3 months of sales and just clearing the 1000 mark, with about 45,000 contract equivalents of 150 pts/contact average assumption at that rate that would be 120 months to sell out. I also would have expected the 1000 to sell out within a month or less.

I guess CRO will get their wish for lots of cash rooms in the BLT tower for a while.

At the beginning my guide told us about the tile, he never mentioned that would be only for add-ons, then after a few weeks, when we make the deposit, he said they got the 1000.

Are they trying to confuse people just to push them to buy? or what is happening?....

We saw our guide Sunday before Thanksgiving, we are thinking about doing an add-on of 200 points. If my guide is reading this(he knows my screen name) we are still thinking about it.

Lets not build his hopes up, right? Would you have to buy before Jan. 15th if you wanted to break those 200 pts. up into less than 100 pt. contracts? Or since you are adding on more than 100 pts. will that matter?

if you think you ever will sell the contract - smaller is definitely better.

It is easier to sell a smaller contract.

for the person buying the smaller contract - it is easier to get the money.

really though it was only for current DVC member who were adding on.

I think they must be over 1000. We signed on November 26th and it was never mentioned to us then, nor have we received info since then. We bought 160pts, so we would have qualified. I'd like to think they would have told us about it if we were in the 1st 1000.

I referred a co-worker for BLT. Initially she was told she would get the tile, (by someone that filters calls for the guides) and then she was told she did not, it was only for existing members. She closed on over 160 points, and she did not get the tile.

I know the end of November, they were within 100 contracts but not sure when the founding status ended.

Can I ask where you heard this from? I was a new buyer and dealt with a Senior Guide when I was there in November and he said it was only for existing DVC members. I purchased 320 points so if there are tiles left, I should be entitled to one if this is the case!
