How close in can you book a dftw??

Yikes!!!

We have been tossing around the idea of a vow renewal for our 20th this year!
Hubby and I were just talking and we will be there at the end of March. Has anyone booked a dftw that quick? ( 2months)
Just need a Memories package as it is just us and our two boys!

We will be there 8 nights, so we are flexible any time that week!

Wow - soooooo excited, but scared there will be no availability!

Hi! Congratulations on your anniversary. We planned an Escape wedding 4.5 months out which included adding a brunch reception and a dessert party and adding floral. I'm pretty sure you will be able to pull off the Memories renewal......there was another poster here who planned one pretty quickly, I can't remember her name, I will see if I can find the thread. Give Disney a call tomorrow! Good luck!

I would call tomorrow definitely in case dates are booked. I looked on the website and you do have to pay in full if you're within the 30 day mark for booking, so there is that. But really there's not much to plan with the Memories package so I think you'd be good to go if you call right away. Congratulations!

I found it, the bride posts under ImpromptuDisneyBride. It looks like they decided in August to have a wedding at the beginning of October.

Congratulations!

My husband and I are doing a vow renewal on March 8 using the memories collection. We decided rather late also (about 70 days out). We had no problems getting our date or finding an officiant.

Since the memories collection is so basic, it is very easy to plan. My only regret is that I really want more than 1 hour of photos - our youngest is going to be 7 months, so I want lots of pictures of him looking cute!

We booked our Memories VR about 5 weeks out and it was no problem at all. Basically we booked it the day they announced this new collection back in September 2010 and our VR was over Columbus day weekend. I had two officiants in mind - one was booked already but one was free so that worked out great. I also had no problem booking Beaute Speciale. The hardest part for me was finding a dress in that time frame. I found something I was happy with in the end but if I'd had more time I think I could've found something I liked even more, kwim?
