How close are the National and Alamo counters to each other?

Hi,
We are traveling with 13 family members to WDW in August. My DH and I got a great rate on a Minivan with National, but the rest of hisfamily wants to rent a 15 passenger van because they are taking so much luggage. I was able to book them a 15 passenger van at Alamo. My DH and I are worried they will get lost. This is their first trip. My question is, will we be able to keep track of them while they are at the Alamo counter, and we are at the National counter? In case you are wondering why we just don't ride with them in their big van, it's because there is no way in heck that they will get up and go to the parks as early as we do. We need the extra van for flexibility!

The Alamo counter and the National counter are right next to each other. What happened is half of the National counter became Alamo.
