Thinking now of going with a on site hotel for convienence but had a family of six so will need two rooms . How low have you gotten the budget resort rooms such as the Allstar Sorts or Movie rooms.

I booked through AAA the other day for $61.90 + tax per night for mid-September. That was the cheapest that I could find. Let me know if you find a better deal, that way I could cancel and rebook! Thanks!

In January I used AP rate and got the room for $49 per night. We're doing the "bounce back" rate (booked before checking out on my January trip) of $52.70 (tax included in that amount) for Nov/Dec. :)

Hi! I'm not sure if that was in USD or CDN, but we just booked our room directly with Disney last week, and we got a rate of $57.78 USD ($77.42 CDN) for the last week of September at AllStar Movies. Hope this helps!:jester: :earsgirl:

The rate you get will depend on when you are going.

We wrer thinking any where from after easter to memorial day but plan to avoid those holidays themselves, any ideas on rates typically around that time. Also can we rent a fridge ?

As a general rule the maximum AP (or post card) discount is about 45%. That discount is not always available and frequently some hotels won't have rooms available (All Star Movies, concierge rooms for example). Those deep discounts are usually not available during PEAK holidays (Christmas week, Easter break etc).

AP stands for Annual Pass. You can discount is there are any available during certain times of the year if you hold an Annual Pass. Only one member of your party needs to have one to get the discount.

There are also usually codes that don't require an AP. Keep checking www.mousesavers.com for discounts also.

I would think (though not positive) you would probably pay close to $100/night including tax during the time you want to stay. Keep checking for codes. :D

$49 a night, 2 summers ago... with a code. (Not AP!)

$49.00 last two years with a code/come back rate in Sept. This year I booked with AAA and it's $61.90 (includes tax).

Are you willing to stay off site? If so, try priceline for a 3 star in the WDW area.

Lemme see.....it was a coupla years ago....$49/nite rate at all-star movies.....with a TREMENDOUS code for a sept-oct trip

We just stayed in the time frame that you mentioned. We stayed at the All Star Sports 05/17-05/20 for $82.00 a night. That was with a code and this time period is considered "regular" season not quite as much as "peak" season would be. We always go at about this time and it's perfect crowd wise, usually perfect weather wise (it was very HOT this year) and is now our favorite time to go.
