How can you make the phone process quicker?

I called this morning for a 90 days out only reservation, and I didn't get it. I'll have one more opportunity to call on Friday. I think I made several mistakes this morning, I called on time, but I think I could have said "english" during the spanish question- can you skip that part by saying "english"? I tried to blurt the rest of the answers as soon as possible. Then I got through, I asked for what I wanted...and then the CM asked for my reservation #. I didn't have it in front of me because at 90 days out, I didn't think I would need it. SO, I'll have it in front of me Friday- but would it be quicker to just say I am staying offsite and then call back with the info later?
 
I'd book my reservations online at 90 days, at least attempt to. You begin online ADR's at 6am EST, and phoning in doesn't start til 7:00. That hour can make a huge difference with the hard to get reservations.

Also, try this today, but generally if you press the number 1 when calling, that's English and Yes, the number 2 is No.

I did online ADRs yesterday and got everything I wanted and it was great. The ADR I want now has to booked by phone. The date that we have left will be on my birthday so maybe that will inspire some pixie dust. I am going to practice calling in a few times later today.

If you want your ADRs to be linked to your room reservation, you need to provide it when you make the ADR. Initially, we were going to stay offsite and I made a bunch of ADRs. Then we decided to stay onsite. I tried to call once our trip approached and link those ADRs to our room reservation but I was told by two separate CMs that it couldn't be done without canceling the ADRs and then trying to rebook them. :confused3 Not sure why the computer can't do this, but whatever. It didn't impact my ability to use those ADRs at all. They just weren't linked to my room reservation.
 

Great questions! I'm anxious to see what experienced DISers say as we'll be making our phone ADRs tomorrow (booked via travel agent...if only I'd known!).
