Hi,
My DS's will turn 3 and 6 while on our trip in May. Anyone have ideas on how we can celebrate? I ordered custon shirts from DisneyStore.com that say "It's my birthday", hoping the kids will get extra attention on their day!
Happy birthday to your sons! When you get to MK you hit the big building on Main Street (I forget the name - it's where they sell cameras and such!) and they give you a birthday pin and then you get some other stuff throughout the park. My girlfriend made reservations at one of the character dinners on her dd's birthday and got a whole box of free stuff (including a Mickey stuffie and a free autograph book). HTH-Kim
Actually, you want to go to City Hall for the birthday button(across from the camera shop) - it will be to your left when you come from under the train station
Be sure to alert them of the birthdays when you make PS's -- they'll usually bring out complimentary desserts for the birthday person and sometimes they'll sing and/or bring balloons too.
I'm hoping this link works, because I posted a long answer to a similar question a short while ago. You can search for my user name there and read it. I'm sure there were other helpful replies on that thread.
Thanks for the replies! We're not expecting anything special. My son just likes people saying Happy Birthday to him, and we want to get them a cake on each of their birthdays (only 2 days apart).
Thanks for letting me know about the buttons.
