How can I stop Alerts on threads

I've unwatched some threads but I am still seeing alerts. I am wondering what else I can do. Thank you.

I ignore them. Just don’t click on the alert if you aren’t interested anymore.

edit. Sorry. Not tech. But thats what works for me. Maybe they will have better solutions.

Thank you. And I am looking for a technical answer. I use the alerts to follow relevant threads and sometimes I have over 50 alerts because I was watching a number of threads that I no longer need to watch (I was planning a now completed trip to WDW).

Is it possible you have a whole forum set to "watch"?

Or has someone quoted or tagged you in a thread? That will send an Alert even if you aren't watching the thread.
