Just curious about this. I see "fake" bags for sale at the Goodwill, Salvation Army, and other thrift stores all the time. How do they get away with it? It doesn't really bother me. I've bought a few fakes in my time.... not because I'm big on designer bags or anything.... mostly because I just liked the particular bag.
Also, another question for those of you in the know.... I have a "Coach" bag that I bought at a yard sale this past summer. I put "Coach" in quotes because the woman I bought it from told me repeatedly that it was real, but I have no experience with these things and have NO WAY of telling. I just bought it because I liked it. If I decided to sell it, how could I find out if it was real? Obviously I have no paperwork or receipt. We do have a local Coach outlet. If I took it in there could they tell me if it was real?
TIA........................P
