How can I ride Pteranodon Fliers?

I don't have any kids but I want to try it out. I heard sometimes they allow adults to ride without kids, but when??

Sometimes, but only sometimes, they will let you ride without a child if you get there right after park opening.

Last Friday I was so excited - into IOA at opening with a 7 yo at my side !!! We walked through an empty park straight for Pteranodon Flyers, stopping only to shoot a few pics of the park with no one there !! I'm thinking my chances of getting on are great (something I've never done before) !!! We get to the entrance and realize no flyers are moving - walk a little ways and CM tells us the ride is down for rehab until Mon (the day after we leave! ) - one of these days !!!

We were just there Tuesday-Thurs, 12/7-9.. on Tuesday we went back and the guy said.. Sorry, just for kids. Then on Wednesday I noticed alot of adults flying around, so we went back again.. And there was a different girl there and she said they were letting anyone ride that day! Yea! So we got to ride ...you just never know, I would just ask sweetly!!

We were there last week and didn't get a chance to ride due to the 90 min wait, but the guy was saying it was for small children, yet I looked above and saw many adults riding alone.....hmmmm.

and hung hang-gliders seats to it with pteradons on top. It's a easy gliding seated ride. The sign said it was 80 seconds long and maybe cos it's in Jurassic Park and the other ride is a wet-thrilling-roller coaster, they added this for the kids.

When we went on, it was me, DH and DS who was 4 at the time. I went on with DS and my DH went on with another adult who was in an odd-numbered party. So they could have been legitimate
