How can I get rid of this static cling???

No static here. No use of fabric softener or Static Guard at all. These products can build up on clothes. They lessen the absorbancy of towels. I suggest you try not using the products and see what happens.

I have a lot of nylony/clingly type clothes. I just use xtra fabric softener in the rinse & then after the spin dry I just hang them up on plastic hangers & then just let them air dry inside the laundry room or on the shower rod. For the things left to put in the dryer, I just add a fabric sheet. I don't get any build up of fabric softener and I think my clothes look better & last longer without being put in the dryer. If you don't want commercial fabric softeners then I think vinegar works well too. And I've also heard never to put fabric softeners on towels.

I read somewhere to put a big ball of aluminum foil in the dryer to get rid of static cling. I am allergic to fabric softener and dryer sheets so I think I will give this a try. It's so dry right now my daughter gets nosebleeds every other day. At least it's a dry cold LOL

My DD has the same problem in the winter from the dry heat. I found that spraying her nose at bedtime w/ saline spray has stopped her from getting them. It's pretty cheap stuff & not much to it. It has worked wonders on her.
