My mom was a die-hard Beatles fan in the 1960's. She's going to see Paul McCartney at Candlestick Park on August 14th. Her dream is to get backstage passes. I realize that's next to impossible. How would we go about getting them? WHO do you have to know to get this to happen? My DH has a friend who works with celebrities that perform in Reno, NV. We asked him if he could get my mom backstage passes to Paul McCartney and he laughed and said "No way. Paul McCartney's WAY too famous." On the other side of things, Paul McCartney DID talk to my mom at a concert back in 2010. She had third row seats and made a sign that said "I saw you in 1964 at the Cow Palace. Remember me?" He read it out loud and did say a few words to her. Pretty neat!
