How busy?

Is it always busy? We are going June 26 and just wondering what to expect.

Any special beaches we should visit?

It will be busy since school is out by that time in most of the US. Honestly, there are so many good beaches on Oahu, it would be hard to pick just one or 2. Our favorites are Waimanalo beach and the beaches on Yokohama Bay. In the summer, the waves at the north shore beaches are pretty calm so they are a good choice also.

Kailua and Lanikai are incredible beaches. They are on the east side but the fastest way to get there takes you through the middle of the island and it is an amazingly scenic drive.
